For those who don't know, The Ohio State University and The University of Michigan have one of the most storied and long running rivalries in all of college football, and maybe all of sports. I'm from Columbus, Ohio, and I don't know what they (Michigan) say about us, but we all know for damn sure that Ann Arbor is a whore. Shit, I know that first hand. We hate, and I can't stress this enough, HATE Michigan when it comes to football or anything leathery and oblong shaped.
So that's the background. I saw this on Facebook, and I have to say, I think this is epic-ly brilliant. Petty, and totally an attack on his personal beliefs and feelings that have zero (like choosing Pepsi over Coke) impact on his plan for the country, but boy, this is a beautifully written ad to only run in Ohio. To take our hate for Michigan, and apply it to a candidate? It only works (for me, at least), because it's so creative.
